Hey guys, need your opinions on something...my cat has started urinating all around the house so I took him to the vet and he said I need to get it neutered. could this behavior be because of a urinary tract infection? the vet didn't take a very good look at the cat because he was convinced it wasn't any infection and that i just need to get it neutered. the cat does tend to urinate in the same areas of the house once they've been cleaned though. any thoughts? btw, it's a male persian around 14 months old.
Thx!

it could be UTI

but if he is urinating or i must say spraying in a standing position n by raising its tale then its a territorial marking he is adult now and need a female to mate

if urinating in a sitting position like usually cats do
then could be UTI or any other bladder problem
get him check by Dr. Zulfiqar Otho 0321-2471053 of PAWS he is an educated vet

Cats like dogs do that to mark their territory next time he gets ready to do that shout no and run towards him just scare him a bit but dont hit him
